Queer safety is local, relational and cultural.

Use the map to explore country context, or open the community gallery to see non-Western ways of understanding queerness, gender and sexuality. The aim is practical: safer questions, better disclosure planning and more culturally responsive family violence practice.

Practice anchor: the safest question is not “Are you out?” but “Who is safe to know, who has power to disclose, and what could happen if this information travels?”
Reminder: this is a training aid, not legal advice. Country context matters, but individual experience matters more. Ask, don’t assume.
